When, Where and How
When, where and how did it become OK in this country for our "religious fathers" to preach to us in a manner of discrimination and hate? I guess they have always done it and "We the People" just stand by like grazing cows, chewing on a cud and absorg it like the proverbial sponges that we have allowed ourselves to become!
When, where, and how did it become OK in this country for our ELECTED OFFICIALS to introduce legislature of discrimination and hate? I guess we have always done it and "We the People" just stand by and let it happen!
As one of "We the People" I have been as socially active as I know how to be! I attend the rallies, I go to marches, I even go to the state capitol every legislative session and voice my opinion to those that make the decissions, for all the good that it might do!
Why then is it such a big deal to be Black, White, Jewish, dare I say it...GAY! OMG! Thia contry is so far in the dark ages on so many issues.. Gay marriage is just the tip of the iceberg! Why is it in most other counties in the world it is perfectly acceptable for a woman to actually put on a bra in a commercial showing her breast as she puts it on? God forbid in this country! Or should I say FCC forbid? It just seems ludicrus to me that we live in a country where you have to have a license to drive a vehicle, to hunt a dear, pull a fish out of the water, get married (if you are straight) But any crack head can have and raise their own baby! But let a loving gay coulple of either gender want to adopt a child, get married, file taxes, buy a home, or anything that requires two signitures try to do something and they are faced with discrimination that is un parrelled from any where else in this world!
In a time where we (The United States of America) are supposed to be setting an example for the rest of the world to see, we have fallen way below the mark on this and many other issues!
It is time to stand up and be part of the true moral majority!
